MMBL to MLB- Four More Players from our League to the Pros

The Montgomery Metro Baseball League has had over 40 college players play at the professional level since the league started in 2006. The MMBL finished its 11th year of play with a lot of college talent chasing the dream to get drafted. As of 2016 there are 7 active MLB minor league players of the 40 still trying to make it to the show. We have 4 MMBL alumni players who have made it to the Majors in past few years. I’m blessed to say that I can sit back after 11 years and look at what I started with as a dream, turn into reality. All I ever wanted was to give college & high school players a place to play in the summer that couldn’t go off and play due to school, work or financial issues. Watching these players chase the dream that I once did, is more rewarding to me than any league championship I have won over the years. Giving back to the game that gave me so much, just show me that my dreams came true. #mmbl

Congrats to these 4 guys for making it to the show.
